White Water is our main discipline as a club. We paddle many local rivers including the Tawe, Usk, Mellte, Twrch, Nedd Fechan and many more.
We paddle grade 1 – 5 and our more advanced members arrange trips to the French Alps, Scotland, North Wales and Slovenia.
As with all disciplines, it all starts at our pool sessions where you’ll learn the skills you need and then progress onto local grade 1 -2 rivers.
Tawe Kayak Club has a varied membership with members participating in Recerational, White Water, Sea Kayaking, Surf Kayaking, Open Canoeing, Paddleboarding and Canoe Polo.
As a club our primary focus is currently White Water and Recreational paddling.
